Valoraciones de 47 Ronin: La leyenda del samurái
Sacramento News & Review
For an action fantasy featuring ogre fights, mass seppuku, ghost spiders and a dragon-witch attack, 47 Ronin is remarkably dull and uneventful. Some blame belongs to first-time director Carl Rinsch, a veteran of commercials and music videos who seems...

Boasting flying dragons, tattooed pirates, hoards of samurais, brawling giants, a shape-shifting sorceress, and mystical monks, you might be surprised to hear 47 Ronin is "based on a true story." But keep in mind it's based on a true story the same...

[CAPSULE] Based on a real Japanese legend stemming from actual events, “47 Ronin” is about a white samurai who helps his cohorts get revenge against a shape-shifting witch. (One suspects the story has been embellished.) I don’t know enough about the...

Based on an – apparently genuine – series of events that occurred in feudal Japan (presumably without dragons), but shot in London and Bulgaria, in 3D, newcomer Carl Rinsch's vacuum-packed epic is a strange, strange film.

Hollywood’s fascination with the way of the samurai continues with the latest East-West hodgepodge ’47 Ronin’, based on the Japanese legend of 47 brave warriors who went against the explicit orders of their Emperor to avenge the wrongful death of...

Any story that’s been passed down through several generations is likely to have been embellished along the way, but this adaptation of a Japanese folk tale takes things a little too far. Carl Rinsch’s debut feature attempts to turn a centuries-old...
