El último viaje a Las Vegas

El último viaje a Las Vegas
El último viaje a Las Vegas Rating: 54 out of 100 based on 27 reviews.

My screening of Last Vegas was at the Odeon West End in London. Since my first trip there, I’ve always wondered why their ‘Premier’ seats are so laid back compared to normal cinema seats. Well after months of wondering, Last Vegas finally gave me the...

A genial "Hangover" for the AARP set, "Last Vegas" is roughly what you'd expect, or fear, but a little better.

I’ll admit that the idea at the centre of this isn’t exactly unfamiliar but I certainly wouldn’t call it unoriginal. Basically, doing the movie maths, this is Stand By Me (minus the body) meets The Hangover plus old people (minus Mr Chow and marrying...

Not to be confused with Chicago band The Last Vegas, “Last Vegas” also won’t be mistaken for “Bad Grandpa,” though both feature horny old men and neither is funny. “Last Vegas” plops four veteran actors in an R-rated fantasy land and lets them have...

"Last Vegas" is proof that some things that happen in Las Vegas should stay in Las Vegas. Even the stellar cast of Robert De Niro, Michael Douglas, Morgan Freeman and Kevin Kline can't save this painfully predictable comedy from coming across...

It is one of the cliches of movies about people over 60 that, at some point, there has to be a Viagra gag. "Last Vegas" waits about 10 minutes - and only because it has to get a prostate joke in first.

The pitch for LAST VEGAS must have been something along the lines of “THE HANGOVER for old guys” although by looking at the combined CV’s the four stars, they may just as well have said “THE HANGOVER for Oscar winners.”

When the trailer was first released, there was a lot of sarcastic speculation that Last Vegas would be “The Hangover with senior citizens.” Had that been the case, it would have been infinitely preferable to what we actually get.

It takes very little time before Last Vegas gets to a Viagra joke, and the movie’s humor about old age doesn’t get any more sophisticated as it unfolds. Marketed as a sort of The Hangover for senior citizens, Last Vegas proves much less audacious and...
